We have two locations. Our main location is in Mountain Village's Heritage Plaza right in the middle of everything, you can't miss us! Great for before, during, or after your ski day. It's close to the ticket office and the bottom of our main lift, Village Express. It's the perfect meeting place for your group to start or end the day right! 8:30 AM - 6 PM The second location is up at Gorrano Ranch, Telluride's best slope-side ski lodge. You must ski to get to this location. Live music, great food and drinks, inddor & outdoor dining, and the best views on the mtn. Get a cold drink and a hot wax while you kick back and take in all in.

We have Two Locations that you can find on our Google Map. 1) Heritage Plaza Wax Guru Cart Location: Use your smart phone to find Heritage Plaza in Mountain Village and we'll be right in the center at our wax cart. Cant miss us! 2) Wax Guru @ Gorrono Ranch Location: Telluride's biggest and best mid-mountain ski lodge. Live music, food, drinks, and now...Ski/snowboard wax & edge! Use the Telluride trail map to find the intermediate ski run named, "Misty Maiden". Gorrono Ranch is a huge brown mulit structure ski lodge on the skier's right hand side of the run abnout haldway down. You'll go right over it on the Village Express lift.

Stop fighting friction all day and stop getting stuck on those long flat cat tracks. The base of your skis or snowboards have tiny pores. Hot wax saturates the base and fills those holes with wax. Since the wax is hydrophobic it causes to the snow to glide ride over the base insted of getting stuck and slowing you down!

Once a week of skiiing is standard but 3-4 days is even better. The reason is as you ride the wax rubs off and that causes your skis to slow down. "Asking a wax pro if you need a wax is like asking a barber if need a haircut... you could alway use a trim." You can also tell by looking and feeling the bottom of your base and is it looking dry, white, and textured then its time for a wax just like chapped lips. If your feeling sluggish it might be time for a wax, just come by and we'll let you know!!!

If you love groomers an edge sharpening is the way to go. This causes you to make smoother turns because it gets all the little nicks out of your edges and the sharp edge will dig into the snow causing you to make better turns. Just tell us what kind of skiing you like and well decide how sharp to do your edges. Even if you have "sharp" edges, there will be little imperfections (burrs) from running over little rocks and debris. We'll smooth those out with a diamond stone so you can keep making those deep carves and stop when you want!
